It was taken with a self-timer, a tripod, and a liberal amount of trial and error. For you couples out there, let me know if you would like to go on a photoshoot because you are my favorite subject to capture! I love to shoot portraits and families too!
In honor of Valentine's Day, here is one of my favorite photos with Francis Wu, my Valentine for the 5th year in a row <3!

Happy 250th Birthday, St. Louis! To commemorate the special occasion, here is a diptic that I made of the arch. The right side of the photo depicts the Mississippi River and East St. Louis, and it was shot from the top of the arch. I hope that you like it! Make sure to check out the many exciting celebrations that are going on this weekend: http://www.stl250.org/event-calendar.aspx.
Although I am not a graduate student, I started going to Taiwanese Graduate Student Association (TGSA) events because I love meeting new people, especially people who share my cultural heritage. My Chinese is quite rusty, but at least I could still communicate! The dinner was held at Mandarin House, one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in St. Louis. Look at all the yummy food!
