As Frances's mom said, "If there was someone else in the world who loves my daughter as much as I do, it would be Nate." If that is not the highest compliment that a mother can give to her son-in-law, I don't know what is. CONGRATULATIONS FRANCES AND NATE!!! <333!!!!
Frances and Nate grew up 4 streets apart from each other and first met in elementary school 16 years ago. They had dated for 8 years before they decided to become one on this one August morning. They had their wedding at the Olbrich Botanical Garden on the east side of Madison. Luckily, the weather was beautiful (slightly chilly in the beginning, but warmed up as the ceremony progressed). Despite having to hammer out some late-minute details, Frances was extremely calm and composed (DID I MENTION BREATH-TAKINGLY GORGEOUS TOO!?!?) all throughout the wedding (totally deserving of the Easiest Bride to Work With Award). Nate, per usual, was very easy-going, so it was absolutely a pleasure working with them :)

I did a mini session with Debra and Kevin, who met as medical students at Wash U last year. When they are not busy studying, Debra and Kevin bond doing all sorts of activities together, such as playing with their 2 adorable kitties and baking yummy desserts. They also love eating sandwiches and going to potlucks ;)
Shoko and Hiromichi met through a mutual friend at a Bank of America ATM while they attended Wash U. They have graduated for a few years now and are happily married :) We returned to their alma mater to reminisce on the good times they shared and to document the memories via photography. Aren't they so incredibly cute together!?
Monica and Dan are expecting their first baby on September 25th! They don't know the sex of the baby yet, so it will be a surprise! We met up by Art Hill in Forest Park on a beautiful (early) evening. Monica's locks caught the setting sun and glowed beautifully. She also radiated with grace and elegance in spite of having to navigate around with her glowing belly--how pretty! A HUGE congratulations Monica and Dan! :)
