There was magic in the air, magic in the air of the MO Botanical Garden that was beautifully lit over the holidays. Even though we had visited during one of the warmer nights of the winter, we still struggled to feel our toes after wandering in the Garden for a few hours. Thankfully there were a few fire places for us to warm up our extremities. But the surreal photos that we got of the purple/blue trees and the cute kids were so worth it, right!?

December brought yet another opportunity to get together with the other fellow Honorary Scholars at 360, a fancy (!) rooftop bar on top of the Hilton Hotel downtown.
While the food was just as delicious as it was last year, the atmosphere was not quite the same. I missed the Class of 2013 (I was the only representative from our class). It was also sad having to say goodbye to our program director, Dean Hill, who will be moving to Princeton with her fiance. I wish them the best of luck in their new careers! Winter crept up on St. Louis, but that didn't stop James and me from photographing one of the city's most beautiful moments: when the winter lights shine in Central West End. We were lucky to run into a cute horse and an ADORABLE girl who kept on smiling at us through a restaurant's window. D'awww!!!
